SBC Dynamic Purchasing System for the Provision of Adult Social Care Services for Slough Residents
Slough Borough Council (SBC) is seeking providers for a range of Adult Social Care services for a number of vulnerable client groups within the Slough community, using a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS).
The DPS is a two-stage process. First, in the initial set-up stage, all suppliers who meet the selection criteria and are not excluded will be admitted to the DPS. There is no limit on the number of suppliers that may join a DPS. Unlike framework agreements, suppliers can also apply to join the DPS at any point during its lifetime. Individual contracts will be awarded during the second stage. In this second stage, all suppliers on the DPS (or the relevant category – or lot – within the DPS) will be appointed directly or invited to propose for the specific contract via a mini-competition process.
There are service lots within this DPS, arranged by client groups, each of which will have its own specific requirements which may vary between lots. Application forms will largely be the same across all lots and so suppliers need only submit the information once. Where there are different requirements for any particular lot this will be clearly identified and you will be asked to respond accordingly.
The five client-group are:-
1. Learning Disabilities (LD)
2. Mental Health (MH)
3. Physical Disabilities and Sensory Impairments (PDSI)
4. Older People (OP)
5. Autism Spectrum Condition (Autism)
