Leicestershire Children and Families Services Gateway2Resources (G2R) - Supported Accommodation for Young People
Leicestershire County Council (the Council) has established a Dynamic Purchasing System (DPS) in accordance with the requirements of the Public Contracts Regulations 2015 (SI 2015/102) (PCR 2015) for the provision of supported accommodation for young people.
The Council welcomes applications from suitably experienced and qualified providers to join the DPS to supply Supported Accommodation placements to Leicestershire’s Looked After Children, Care Leavers, Unaccompanied Asylum Seeking Children and Young People (at risk of homelessness) not owed a social care duty between the ages of 16 to 18.
Providers must be registered with Ofsted for the provision of supported accommodation for young people
The Council wishes to work collaboratively with providers to ensure that placement requirements for Leicestershire’s Looked After Children cohort can meet demand and need. The Council’s vision is to ensure that Leicestershire young people can live locally and are offered high quality, value for money placements.
The DPS consist of four categories:
Category 3c: Single Occupancy
Category 3d: Shared accommodation – ring fenced
Category 3e: Shared accommodation – non ring fenced
Category 3f: Supported Lodgings
